A long-time Tucson resident, I have recently relocated to Sydney Australia to joint the University of Technology Sydney.
In the 2001-2002 academic year I was a visiting professor at the Department of Economics at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
In the spring of 2005 I visited ISER Osaka. My son attended a Japanese kindergarten, while my daughter attended third grade in Japanese.
In the spring of 2007 my sabbatical took me to the Department of Economics at NUS (National University of Singapore), and my children had the opportunity to attend a nearby Japanese school.
In the summer of 2009 I had the pleasure of visiting Waseda University and the kids went to school in Tokyo.
My family and I regularly visit Madrid, where I work with a colleague at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and my family enjoys the wonderful museums and the beauty of the city.
